About Helen:

Hello, my name is Helen Falvey, acupuncturist, and owner of AcuGlow Acupuncture Clinic. My goal with my work is to help as many people as possible live their lives in the best health they can, free of pain, happier, sleeping better, and even preserving their eyesight into the future. I chose acupuncture as a career because it helped me so much when I really needed it when I was younger. I completed my initial acupuncture training over 3 years at The Acupuncture Foundation in Dublin, and have completed many extra trainings in the 5+ years that I have been in business to ensure the best results and care possible for my clients.

A little bit more about me:

When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, spending time in nature, cycling and walking, visiting Galway Farmers’ Market and local farm shops to get the very best local produce and support local producers. I enjoy spending time cooking healthy, nutritious meals and it’s really important to me to be able to source great quality food locally. This is one of the reasons I love living in Galway; another is being near the sea, where I love to walk as often as I can. Other things I love: podcasts, architecture, independent film, all animals, road trips, and horse riding. I am a committee member of the AFPA(Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association) and BPW Galway.
